The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Foams Team Leader to support the smooth running of our WA Foams operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, coordinating daily tasks, and leading small teams on the floor.
You will play a key role in ensuring dispatch schedules are met, inventory is accurate, production tasks are completed efficiently, and safety standards are upheld. This position supports the Supervisor and provides leadership coverage when required.
Your responsibilities may include based on your experience:
- Coordinate daily dispatch priorities and allocate truck loads
- Lead daily warehouse, dispatch and conversion activities
- Perform hands-on warehouse and production tasks as required
- Ensure pick accuracy, loading accuracy and freight efficiency
- Support inventory control including cycle counts and stocktakes
- Provide clear daily direction to team members on shift
- Maintain housekeeping, storage and safety standards
- Complete operational paperwork and system updates
- Liaise with interstate sites regarding freight and transfers
- Provide leadership coverage during Supervisor absences
About you
You are a practical, floor-based leader who enjoys coordinating work, supporting your team and getting stuck in. As well as:
- Experience in warehousing, dispatch or manufacturing environments
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Leading Hand or senior operator role
- Strong safety awareness and a commitment to safe work practices
- Forklift licence and confidence working in production settings
- Inventory and stock accuracy experience
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using WMS / ERP systems
